The total performance time must not exceed 12 minutes. Obligatory piece must be performed from memory.

B Category

  1. Obligatory piece:
    • F. Chopin – Variations on theme by Rossini in E Major for Flute and Piano (without repeats)
  2. The 1st movement (including cadence) of the following concertos of the applicant’s choice:
    • C. Stamitz – Concerto in G Major op. 29 for Flute and Orchestra
    • A. Stamitz – Concerto in D Major for Flute and Orchestra
    • J. J. Quantz – Concerto in G Major QV 5:174 for Flute and Orchestra
    • L. Hoffmann – J. Haydn – Concerto in D Major for Flute and Orchestra
    • W. A. Mozart – Concerto Nr. 2 in D Major K 314 for Flute and Orchestra
    • F. Danzi – Concerto Nr. 2 op. 31 in D Minor for Flute and Orchestra
    • V. Blodek – Concerto in D Major for Flute and Orchestra
  3. A piece of the applicant’s own choice

C Category

Second Round

  1. W. A. Mozart – Rondo in D Major K 373 (184 Anh) for Flute and Orchestra
  2. One of the following pieces of the applicant’s choice:
    • H. Dutilleux: Sonatine for Flute and Piano
    • P. Sancan: Sonatine for Flute and Piano
    • F. Martin: Ballade for Flute and Piano
    • E. Bozza: Agrestide Op. 44 for Flute and Piano
    • A. Casella: Sicilienne et Burlesque for Flute and Piano
  3. One of the following concertos of the applicant’s choice:
    • J. Ibert – Concerto for Flute and Orchestra
    • C. Reinecke – Concerto in D Major op. 283 for Flute and Orchestra
    • A. Jolivet – Concerto for Flute and String Orchestra
Programme could be played from the score, except compositions under Nr. 1 in the first round and Nr. 1 in the second round.
